UTOPIA WORLD

TRAVIS SCOTT

Content Design & Immersive Digital Storytelling

For the highly anticipated launch of Travis Scott’s 2023 comeback album, Utopia. I worked on the development of Utopia World - an immersive content experience designed to extend the Utopia album beyond music into an interactive digital world.

The project focused heavily on content design and audience flow. Shaping how users navigated, experienced, and emotionally connected with the world surrounding the album through layered storytelling, visual systems, and culturally-driven digital touch points.

Working across multidisciplinary creative teams, I contributed to:

  • UX-focused content structure and storytelling flows

  • audience-facing copy and narrative systems

  • worldbuilding and environmental storytelling

  • digital experience content hierarchy

  • culturally relevant messaging and interaction points

  • ensuring tonal consistency across the wider Utopia ecosystem

My role focused on balancing high-concept creative direction with intuitive audience engagement, helping ensure that the experience felt immersive without becoming visually or narratively overwhelming.

The project required thinking beyond traditional campaign copywriting and instead approaching content as part of a wider digital experience system: guiding users through different moments of discovery, interaction, and exploration while maintaining the mysterious, cinematic, and dystopian tone of the Utopia world.

I also collaborated closely with designers, developers, and creative leads to ensure that content, visual direction, and user experience worked together cohesively across the platform experience.

The project leveraged my skills and experience working in:

  • content design

  • digital storytelling

  • immersive audience experiences

  • entertainment marketing

  • culturally-driven digital worldbuilding
